Barracuda. One of the newest Indie/Alternative bands to emerge from the Leicester scene are set to do some exciting things in 2019. The young four-piece are out to send the public a message with their loud, dirty, edgy and hard-hitting music. Recently the band reached out to us at Groove Music to help promote their new song, “Never Change”. Since we love to help support upcoming bands of the scene – we agreed! Some of their past credits include; Western Park Festival, The Cookie, The Vault and The Soundhouse.
They’ve done a great job within the past few weeks on teasing their new single, so here we are to do our bit and make the suspense even more exciting!
Upon first first impressions, the track is raw, aggressive and energetic. This is certainly something new and revolutionary that we haven’t heard from the guys before. This is just the start of a fresh and modernistic path for Barracuda – the instrumentals are inventive and extremely cutting edge.
Not to mention the lyrics. Their descriptive and meaningful nature make this track sound absolutely massive. Their opinions towards the controversial themes of this song are brave and eye-opening. Barracuda have come on leaps and bounds since their last release in terms of musicianship and composition skills. Which makes us incredibly excited to finally see what has been going on behind the scenes!
